Learning Pranic Healing

"Everyone has the innate ability to heal and relieve pain."
– Master Choa Kok Sui

Here's my quick guide on how one can learn Pranic Healing effectively and efficiently.

Classes

Taking the Pranic Healing Level 1 class from a certified instructor is by far the most effective way to learn. This weekend-long, hands-on workshop combines a balanced amount of theory and practice, allowing the student to develop enough confidence to start practicing on their own.

It's quite likely you won't need to travel too far to take the class, as it is currently being taught in more than 100 countries. One just has to make sure to be taking the class from an instructor affiliated with the Institute for Inner Studies Inc..

For classes in the West Coast and Mid-West, check the schedule at the pranichealing.com website.

Intros

Those who are not yet sure if they should commit to the Level 1 class can attend a 2-hour introductory workshop. In an intro the basic principles are explained and some techniques are shared, giving the student a decent taste of what the full class feels like.

Many instructors offer intros for free or a symbolic price. I have been teaching intros for a few years now, check the Upcoming Events page for my schedule. Alternatively, feel free to contact me if you would like me to teach you and your group a free intro.

Books

These two books bring tremendous value to Level 1 graduates and new students alike, being a convenient way for people to learn from scratch or deepen their understanding at their own pace. They are available in many countries as well as in digital format:
Your Hands Can Heal You
Master Stephen Co & Eric Robins, M.D.
Written by Master Pranic Healer Stephen Co and urologist Eric Robins, this book provides a step-by-step approach to incorporating Pranic Healing techniques into your day in order to increase energy level and improve physical and emotional health.
Miracles Through Pranic Healing
Master Choa Kok Sui
The textbook for the Level 1 class – written by the founder of Pranic Healing himself – is a very comprehensive guide to energy healing, worthy of being read multiple times.

Practice

A pedestrian on 57th Street sees a musician getting out of a cab and asks, “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” Without pause, the artist replies wearily, “Practice.”

There's not much to be proud about just knowing something. If one can't remember what they know at the time that knowledge is needed, that has but little value. Proficiency in Pranic Healing – as is the case with most subjects – can only be achieved through practice.

Many Pranic Healing communities all over the world facilitate healing clinics (a.k.a. Community Healing Nights), where graduates have the opportunity to volunteer to practice their skills on people from the local community.

For events in the Seattle area, check the Pranic Healing Seattle website.
